Welcome to the CAFE CHURCH - MUSIC PLANTERS INTERNSHIPS!

THE PLAN
You will become an active band member of ministry and church missions who are establishing new Cafe styled churches and humanitarian mission bases in communities around the world, launching conferences & crusades and impacting nations through mission outreach by using music to draw people to Christ and to save SOULS.

IDEAL FOR:
MUSICIANS, SINGERS, STAGE CREW, SOUND TECHNICIANS, DRUMMERS, GUITARISTS, KEY BOARDISTS & RELATED ARTS.

STARTING LOCATION:
This internship will begin from Glasgow City in the United Kingdom with future assignment to mission fields across the Europe, India, New Zealand, Asia and Africa.

It will begin as a full time Internship and is not salaried for a period of one year.

To bring you an amazing opportunity to impact the nations for Christ starting from the United Kingdom starting this summer, 2011

THE PLAN
You will relocate and become a long-term member of an International Mission and Ministry community that is using RELEVANT, MODERN & FRESH music to establish new Cafe styled churches and mission bases in communities as well as for launching conferences & crusades and impacting communities through musical mission outreach.

MISSION TRAINING STAGES
STAGE 1:
6 months training undergoing discipleship, band practices, café operations training, mission work and church planting in a very busy program within a multi-cultural setting & community. Most ideal for people who love God and love people and LOVE MUSIC!
It is a demanding assignment.

STAGE 2
7-12 months Mission Service: Released as part of a team sent overseas to put all the skills and equipping to work & expand the Kingdom of God. Where you are sent will depend on overall performance in part 1.

STAGE 3
13-18 Months positioning: After successfully completing 13-18 months in the program and receiving a good evaluation, you may be considered for a permanent mission field assignment to work at a mission base abroad, using music to lead people to Christ, with full room and board provision and a small stipend in line with the local standard of the nation you are sent.

WARNING
Please note that NOT everyone is guaranteed a paid position after the process. Paid positions are only for the best performers in the program.

Here are a few examples of your likely daily roles & expectations:
. Spend substantial time in band practice.
. Receive training on international house visions of JHM/SFF & SKC, their mission focus, church planting methods, discipleship, etc. .
. Become an active member of the community, working in partnership with others on a daily basis.
. Attend Pre-Scheduled classes for mission growth.
. Ministering to people of all ages & gender in different roles & positions.
. High street, shopping centres & airport evangelism using music.
. Cooking for teams and for the needy in the mission field when required.
. Church Admin roles.
. Driving Duties, if you have a valid driver’s License.
. Outreach networking/ flyer distribution.
. Deeply involved in Worship/Music ministry setting up/disbanding after gigs.
. Participate in Bible studies & team studies.
. Attend daily meetings & briefing sessions.
. Global Missions Department work when assigned.
. Housekeeping & concierge ministry roles.
. Prayer team assignments for praying over communities.
. Feeding, cooking and ministering to the needy.
. Being a part of a committed team delivering educational outreach support to local schools & colleges using music.
. Setting up and implementing revivals, fairs, conferences and workshops.
. Maintaining administrative support roles in church & mission.
. Working with our medical ministry team in the nations if called upon.
. Working with our media/film ministry team as required.
. Designing, collaborating and producing musical workshops under direction/supervision.

This position is for those individuals who are truly seeking to enter into a community and impact the hearts of people worldwide either as a paid or unpaid personnel.

ACCEPTANCE REQUIREMENT:
1] Must be between ages 18-25
2] Must be a born again Christian.
3) Knowledge of missions, church life and proof of active participation is in church & music is required.
4] Willingness to train as a musical pastoral care servant.
5] Commitment or passion to work overseas after training is essential.
6] Must be hard working, willing to be trained, humble and willing to learn.
7] Should be sold out for Christ.
8] Must LOVE people!
9] Must and be willing to work in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-racial environment.
10] Must love outreach, have a missionary mindset and be Kingdom minded.
11] If married, spouse must have the same zeal, commitment and passion for God.
13] Be willing to train & work in a Pentecostal/Evangelical culture and environment.
14] Must successfully pass our evaluation process.
15] Must provide 3 credible references for our evaluation and one must be from the current pastor of your church.
16] Willing to live in a shared accommodation with other musicians & missionaries.
17] Willing to work long hours in ministry if/as required.
18] Have a valid international passport.
19] Having a Drive's License is very beneficial but not compulsory.

YOUR FINANCIAL OBLIGATION:
1] Pay a Non-Refundable Registration Fee of: 1,000-USD upon acceptance.
2] Purchase your own round trip travel ticket to the United Kingdom
3] Provide your own travel/health insurance for 6/12 months.
4] Obtain all the relevant vaccinations & visa where required.
5] Bring your pocket money/spending money of between $100/Month or more.
